EDITORIAL

Kostas has joined the Editorial team of Nano Letters, as one of its Associate Editors to cover the area of nanomedicine and bio-nanotechnology.

Nano Letters has been one of the first journals dedicated to nanotechnology, published by the American Chemical Society and established in January 2001 (with the first papers appearing online in late 2000). It has been created to provide a forum for “rapid communication” of important results—a “Letters” format for nanotechnology and nanoscience.

Previously, Kostas was the Founding Editor of the journal Nanomedicine (first published in 2006). He acted as its Senior Editor for 17 years.
Nanomedicine was the first medicine-oriented journal in the field (published originally by Future Medicine, London) addressing the important advances and challenges towards the clinical use of nanoscale-structured materials and devices. It is now part of the Taylor & Francis journal portfolio.
