We are pleased to welcome Ms. Chariya Peeyatu who has joined the Nanomedicine Lab as a Visiting PhD Student for 3 months.

Chariya began her PhD in January 2025 at the NanoTherapeutics Lab (under Dr. Tom Kisby supervision and Prof. Kostas Kostarelos co-supervision), Centre for Nanotechnology in Medicine, University of Manchester (UoM). Her doctoral research focuses on developing targeted lipid-based drug delivery systems used in the design of post-operative glioblastoma therapeutics.

During her stay at the Nanomedicine Lab Chariya will explore the use of microfluidics systems for the synthesis of targeted lipid-based nanoparticles and compare them to her drug delivery systems.
