Kostas was invited by the Nanomaterials in Health group at the Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Science and Technology (EMPA) in St Gallen to give a seminar on Convergent nanotechnologies for the management of glioblastoma.

He then visited a few collaborating laboratories at ETH in Zurich and participated in the Examination Committee of the PhD candidate, Ms Su Liu who successfully defended their PhD theses on human vascularized tumor-on-a-chip models for efficacy assessment of cell therapy and dose predictions of cell therapy via the integration of organ-on-a-chip platform and PBPK modelling. A huge congratulations to Su Liu on this important milestone!
