Kostas gives a Keynote at The COINS meeting in Vilnius
This week Kostas was invited to deliver a Keynote talk at The COINS – an International Conference of Life Sciences, held annually in Vilnius, Lithuania. His talk, titled: “Everything you always wanted to know about Taking Graphene in the Clinic But were afraid to ask“ shed light on the intricate journey of integrating graphene into clinical applications. His aim was to share and demystify for the audience of young researchers a less familiar phase in life and medical research development, that of clinical translation.
The COINS is organised exclusively by the Vilnius University Students’ Representation. The event has been gathering esteemed researchers working in life sciences, including an impressive list of Nobel Prize winners. A fabulous example of student pro-active engagement that should be adopted by other student groups and institutions across the world!
