PhD student from University of Tokyo visits the Lab!

We are pleased to welcome Ms. Yukine Ishibashi for her research stay at the Nanomedicine Lab.

Yukine began her PhD studies in 2025 at The University of Tokyo, School of Engineering, Department of Materials Engineering. Her research focuses on the development of polymeric nanoparticles called ´nanorulers´ for drug and nucleic acid delivery for medical applications.

During her stay at the Nanomedicine Lab she has fully characterized her nanorulers, unveiling their physicochemical properties. Her European adventure continues at Centre for Nanotechnology in Medicine (CNTM) of The University of Manchester, where she studied the biodistribution of nanorules in brain tumor resection models together with the Nanotherapeutics Lab researchers led by Tom Kisby. Yukine and Chariya (PhD student at the Nanotherapeutics Lab) are in the photo.

It was a pleasure hosting you and we are looking forward to continue our collaboration!
