Targeting the neural blueprint of brain tumors

Abstract: Diffuse gliomas are yet incurable brain tumors invading and colonizing the entire brain. We and others have recently demonstrated that these brain tumors hijack the nervous system and neural mechanisms to promote growth, invasion and therapeutic resistance. This talk will explain the basic science of the emerging field of Cancer Neuroscience and clinical-translational implications.
