Our two MSc students, Mr. Vikas Hegde and Ms. Fatima Jaffar graduated early October. Vikas analysed the siRNA administration for anti-tumor therapy using real time RT-PCR, western blot and immunohistochemistry. He obtained his Bachelor of Engineering in Biotechnology with distinction from India. Fatima has investigated various cationic polymer-carbon nanotubes systems for gene delivery. She completed her Master of Pharmacy degree in June 2007 from the School of Pharmacy, University of London and is originally from Kuwait.
