Cyrill attended the Lloyd’s Register Foundation International Conference

Cyrill attended day 1 of the Lloyd’s Register Foundation International Conference 2019 “Engineering a safer world” on Wednesday 09th at Northumberland Avenue, London. LRF’s International Conference is one of the world’s most prestigious thought leadership summits on safety and risk, bringing together some of the most exciting thinkers, business leaders, innovators, and policymakers to debate the best ways to make the world a safer place. Day 1 programme was packed with thought-provoking talks and debates around the most pressing global safety challenges of our times and the next ones to come. It ended by the LRF student best communicator competition, in which 2 students from the CDT Graphene NOWNANO, University of Manchester took part. Their performance allows people in the audience to understand how supercapacity and 2D materials will bring solutions to current energy and communication challenges.
