Prof. Dr Twan Lammers, Chair of Experimental Molecular Imaging at Aachen University in Germany, visited the Nanomedicine Lab in Barcelona to deliver one of our NanoSeminars, titled: “Strategies to Promote Cancer Nanomedicine Clinical Performance”.

During his seminar, Prof Lammers highlighted several strategies to monitor and modulate tumor-targeted drug delivery, including image-guided interventions to prime the tumor microenvironment, and the use of imaging and tissue biomarkers for patient stratification.

Twan is the immediate Past President of the Controlled Release Society and holds a range of awards and past ERC Grant Awards. His seminar was co-hosted by ICN2 & ICMAB – CSIC.
