The SKIN2DTRONICS project officially launched last Friday with its kick-off meeting in Pisa, marking the beginning of this ambitious 6-year ERC Synergy Grant.

Hosted by the Università di Pisa, the meeting brought together the project’s principal investigators: Gianluca Fiori (Università di Pisa), Andres Castellanos-Gomez (Instituto de Ciencia de Materiales de Madrid-CSIC), Andras Kis (École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne), and Kostas Kostarelos.

SKIN2DTRONICS aims to develop breakthrough conformable electronic devices using 2D materials and revolutionize brain cancer monitoring and detection of tumor recurrence.
