Nanomedicine Lab researchers go back to school!
Glòria and Noelia were invited to give a presentation to primary school pupils about our day-to-day research in the Nanomedicine Lab.
During their talk, they introduced different types of nanomaterials to students, focusing particularly on liposomes and graphene. The young students also had the opportunity to touch and feel our soft and tissue-like hydrogel materials, used routinely in the Lab to make brain phantoms.
It’s always motivating to share our work and knowledge with younger generations and to inspire the scientists of the future. These interactions remind us why outreach and education are such vital parts of our mission.
Hoping to see some of these aspiring scientists at ICN2 doing research in a few years!
