2D-Health hosts Advanced Therapeutics Translation Workshop
Yesterday afternoon, 2D-Health, in collaboration with Translation Manchester and Advanced Materials in Medicine at Manchester, hosted an Advanced Therapeutics Translation Workshop at Citylabs Manchester.
The workshop had a clinical and translational focus and explored the different regulatory requirements needed to translate medical devices and pharmaceutical agents from preclinical research through to a clinical setting with a particular focus on advanced therapeutic agents (e.g. nanomedicine, gene therapeutics and cell therapeutics).
The workshop included a series of talks from experts in the regulatory field, as well as case studies where advanced therapeutics are being translated through to clinical use, and culminated in an open panel discussion.
