Ms. Melissa Vincent, PhD Student

Melissa completed an Engineering Diploma from the University of Technology of Compiegne (France) and had the opportunity to follow a double degree programme with Cranfield University (UK) to also obtain an MSc in Biomedical Engineering in 2015 with Distinction. She spent six months with the Nanomedicine Lab during her MSc research project on the PEGylation of graphene oxide for biomedical applications. Melissa was awarded the prestigious Louis Wong Hak Wood Presidential Doctoral Scholarship in October 2015 and her PhD project focuses on 2D-material-based implantable electrodes for neuro-stimulation.
