Mrs. Sue Hookway

Mrs. Sue Hookway, Project Manager (2013 – 2014)

SueSue initially trained and qualified as a Medical Secretary and worked as such in the NHS for ten years prior to joining The University of Manchester. She has since worked in The Faculty of Medical and Human Sciences¬†(FMHS) for a number of years in various administrative roles and during this time obtained the BTEC Professional Certificate in Management Studies. Her roles within the University have included two posts as Personal Assistant to a Professor of Clinical Biochemistry and Professor of Immunogenetics, respectively, before moving onto becoming Centre Manager for The Centre for Integrated Genomic Medical Research (CIGMR) and then as Administrative Services Manager for the Institute of Inflammation and Repair. Sue retired in December 2014 after being the lab’s project manager since August 2013.
