Dr. Hannah Leese, Research Associate
Hannah obtained her BSc Degree in Chemistry at the University of York, UK in 2009. After graduation she moved to the University of Bath to pursue 3her PhD in Chemical Engineering, where she developed alumina and carbon nanotube membranes for electro-osmotic pumps. On completion of her PhD, Hannah moved to the Department of Chemistry at Imperial College London as a post-doctoral research associate, primarily working on the chemical functionalisation of carbon nanomaterials for application in protein crystallisation and nanocomposites. Hannah has recently joined the Nanomedicine Lab as a research associate working in Work Package 5 (Biomedical Technologies) of the Graphene Flagship project where she will develop responsive and therapeutic hydrogels.
