Mr. James Keitley
James is an undergraduate medical student at The University of Manchester who will be joining the Nanomedicine Lab in May 2016 to assist with work on the interactions between nanomaterials and neural tissue in vitro. As a student with a strong interest in medical research, he holds voluntary positions as president of the Manchester Medical Research Student Society and as student editor of the Manchester Medical Journal, with his ideal career being a mix of academic and clinical neurology. In 2015 James presented work at two national conferences and published a patient information leaflet at Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust. Next year he will be undertaking a BSc in Innovation and Enterprise in Clinical Medicine before returning to complete his medical degree for 2018.
